[Info] Autumn 2010 Release DVD preorder ranking

From Amazon Ranking Stalker
(Recorded date: 13th Dec 2010)

Here is current pre-order rankings for the first volume of Autumn 2010 anime released.
*Some of the Autumn animes have already released the first volume, so the second volume will do instead.

1. Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai!
Iwakamii... You did it again. High ranking throughout the entire period. Entire DVD set of Ore no Imouto is in top 50. Very impressive. It's even higher than Angel Beats, and I can see Iwakami smiling with evil faec.

2. Toaru Majutsu no Index II
I wonder what caused that giant drop. Oh well, fans are eating this anyway, even with how incredibly boring it is.

3. Shinryaku, Ika Musume!
It juuuuust missed the second place. Ika-chan is cute anyway. I'm expecting some beastly sales.

and actually...Volume three is even higher than Index due to mini-ika musume inclusion;
geso geso~

4. Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
Unexpected, huh? Gainax is winning some cash here. PanSto is awesome.

 5. Hakuoki Shinsengumi Kitan
Power of fujoushi...

KIRABOSHI whatever it is.

7. Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls (2nd Volume)
Boobs.... Black paints will disappear! Yey!... (...)

8. Yotsuga no Sora
Power of SECKS.

9. To LOVE Ru whatever (2nd Volume)
...Manga's getting more extreme recently.

9. Detective Opera - Milky Holmes
I heard this is gooood. I should watch it.

10. Sora No Otoshimono - Forte
Ambiguous ranking. I don't know whether it was right decision to make movie of this for the staffs.

11. Soredemo Machi Wa Mawateiru
Orz Shaft... T_T

11. Otome Youkai Zakuro (2nd Volume)

...It fell so much from the first volume
12. Kami Nomi Zo Shiru Sekai

Wakaki sensei will just cry hard. I wanted him more success, knowing how much struggling life he had before release of his manga.

13. Fortune Arterial - Akai Yakusoku

14. Arakawa Under the Bridge x Bridge
Orz Shaft... ;_; ... why... this is a brilliant series...

15. Togainu no Chi

The biggest failure this season. I've never seen fall like this one. (currently ranking out of 2000...Orz)

ringOtamegane's last word
MANGLOBE, WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... ;_;

Updated: I fuckin hate imageshack. No, seriously. Fucking hate.

  1. Interesting to see Producer Iwakami shows being season top (Ore Imouto) and season worst (Togainu no Chi) at the same time. Kodansha BOX's Ota Katsushi was right for calling him "Japan No.3 Top Anime Producer", with the 1st and 2nd being Suzuki Toshio (Ghibli) and Otsuki Toshimichi (Evangelion).

    BTW, try Imgur. It's far better than ImageShack or TinyPic.

  2. @Anon: Togainu no Chi... Orz. I still remember those flatfish eyes. The team blew all the budgets in the first episode and constantly changing ending themes. It has to be bad.

    I'm hyped for Mahou Shoujo Magika Madoka, though (Another show produced/planned by Iwakami). :)

  3. So it seems Bakuman is also failing on the scale of epic proportions considering it's not on here? Or is the dvd not available for preorder yet?

    Would the rankings be impaccted a lot if blu-ray preorders were included?

  4. @totoum: Bakuman is that I didn't include since it is 2-cour series. Otaku tends to stay away from buying those unless it is 'really' good.

    It's even less than Togainu, apparently;

    As you see, DVD ranking > BD in this case, which means there are less involvement of Otaku.

  5. Arakawa didn't have anything on the graph. Why did you arrange it above Togainu no Chi?

  6. The graph only shows the overall trend over 3 months. This ranking is based on 'CURRENT' pre-order status. Ranking for Arakawa is around 500~1000 ranking, when Togainu is even farther than 1000th.
