[Info] 'Hangai' director sends SOS to 'Denpa Onna' Character designer, Nishida Asako

Source: http://twitter.com/#!/jimmy01hot/status/80353146169344001 etc.

Director of new upcoming animation 'Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai' aka 'Hanagai', Saito Hisashi, sent SOS to Nishida Asako via tweeter. He is asking her to becoming animation director of the series, knowing how godly her recent product by the exactly same original illustrator, Buruki. When Nishida's rejecting as the animation of the series will probably become exactly same as what Denpa Onna was, but director is saying he doesn't care.

The series will be animated by AIC Build, which also did Ore no Imouto.

We all want this, right? This is what Yashiro should look like, not this;

Eh...

  1. SHAFT got the eyes perfect and the right, bright colour scheme.

    Oh and the light on the hair. The hair shines differently. AIC looks really bland.

    SHAFT usually makes/gets people to make designs close to original.

    And I'm not saying that the brightness of the palette in each show they make is the same or anything but they're very good choices.

  2. Wait...if Nishida accepts the job does that mean Yoshihiro Watanabe is gonna get fired?

  3. probably.
    or maybe they'll work together? If he gets fired that would make him look pretty bad and probably worsen future prospects.

  4. But if this is indeed airing during the fall wouldn't Nishida be too busy with Guilty Crown to help out with this?

  5. @Anon: It is not even confirmed rather Nishida is doing Guilty Crown.

  6. She wouldn't tweet about it being in the production phase if she weren't working on it.

  7. @Anon: Give me source, then. Did she mentioned the word 'Guilty Crown' in twitter?

  10. The tweet might have been deleted since they haven't announced her as a staff member yet.
