  3. Mind telling me which doujin the pic comes from?

I actually think that you are currently a university student. Well, it's not like your life has ended or there is only one university. Don't think over it too much. :-)

  4. Yeah, dude. Just keep moving, you know.

I never understood people who off themselves after things like this... there are MANY paths to go on from now on.

Culture different is one of the big part, IMO. In Asia, going to the university is one of the big step in your life. People especially our parents give it very highly consideration. Most children need to attend cram school either by own decision or by force. It's very high pressure. I know because I'm also an Asian and I've already passed that point.

  9. @Anon: Actually, my parents weren't forcing me... ^^;; It's just me who was just disappointed that I could've done much better...

but of course, I'm biased to think that going to good university is important.

  10. Man, that's a downer. But such things happen, so don't let it discourage you. I cross my fingers for you to have better luck next time. ^_^
Are there other entry options this year, hopefully? It's just that in my country, all universities hold entrance exams at roughly THE SAME TIME, so those who failed usually get some part time job and prepare to give a try next year (often aiming for the same university).
