Looks like Penguindrum vol.1 is getting delayed by a month too.
I don't think it's SHAFT, it's Starchild records. Penguidrum is being delayed by a month as well.
What do you think about this?http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=321147
@Anon2: Ah. I see. Thanks for the information.@Anon3: I actually posted in that thread.
I think that from now on no one want to work with Ken Akamatsu anymore. Even the anime is bad (I haven't watched it) but it's not very appropriate to say such thing while the anime is still airing. It only hurts the production and causes more loss.I don't care about Negima but if this also happens with Kizumonogatari then I will not support Shaft anymore.
@Anon That would imply that there was another company before that would consider animating Negima. I don't think so, to be honest.
@Anon4The value between Negima and Kizu is vastly different. I personally didn't see anyone following the news involving the Negima movie before it's release. The anime wasn't that huge either. Shaft would have to be insane to not put every man on Kizu. Shaft probably didn't even care that much if they half-assed the Negima movie either.
@Anon5Do you even know that Xebec had animated the first season of Negima? It ended up in utterly failure by the way. Ken Akamatsu came out and apologized to fan and blamed the studio. After Xebec, no studio wanted to work with him because of his action. He eventually ended up with Shaft because Shaft was the studio which wasn't picky with its work.I know that the studio did have its fault but what Ken Akamatsu did only made things worse.
