I missed it, but there was certain hilarious thing that was going on with Yamakan-drama (or that certain-hotel-guy-who-jumped-off-the-cliff-after-raping-a-girl).

Basically, what happened is this. One day, Yamakan suddenly twitted, with rage, that he contacted producers to cancel serialisation of Fractal manga.

Apparently, the mangaka posted blog post that complains how he is continuing manga that is genuinely uninteresting and wanting to quit the series as soon as possible, gettting a new serialisation. The problem is that this is just a 'rumour'. It was just certain image that was going around internet news and 2ch, no-one knows whether it is photoshopped or not.

Yet, at least according to the twitter, Yamakan has already sent message to finish off the manga.

At the end, the producer of noitaminA 'APOLOGISED' for Yamakans action and mangaka's complain. People are saying he is a man, as this is not the only time that he defended Yamakan for Fractal's low TV rate.

At the end manga is still continuing. I wonder wtf is wrong with this Yamakan guy. I liked his directions, until he became big-mouthed jerk. Twitter is a source of evilness.

Madoka and IS is good as usual. IS had nipple exposure scene (...), so I expected better sales, but meh. Same as usual. Ao no exorcist was surprise hit. I wasn't thinking it will be this much successful. Azazel was even bigger surprise. Steins;Gate did well, but I expected better. Hidan no Aria and Denpa's sales were almost identical, except Denpa had more proportion of Blu-ray, thus higher profit and much more otaku-oriented. I hoped Denpa to sell more, because its sakuga and BD cover art was just the best thing I've ever seen. On the other hand, Hidan no Aria was one of the worst harem ever.

When I saw most of the comment very pleasing to read, I found it is really frustrating how everyone has attitude of 'who-cares'. History should NEVER be forgotten. There are many Japanese who appreciate Korea, and there are many people who knows how to greet Japanese. It's just the fact that there were just so much historical tensions and one-sided attack by Japan gave Korea horrible war-crisis for at least 100 years, which has only overcome through last 20 years.

Korea glorifies history? It's just Japanese glorifies there history WAY TOO MUCH, westerners can't just see the difference between those. Why? Historical evidences are there that many cultural influence such as strong Buddhism and construction techniques went from Korea to Japan, just like how China influenced Korea. During modern years, this became opposite; Japan inevitably gave western culture to Korea, and China is now copying Korean's past step-stones of industry. The problem is that Japan wants to make the 'entire history' to be like this modern times. There are definite historical evidence how Japan's culture was so much benefited by Korea (most of 'sensible' Japanese historians also agrees with it), yet government wants this to be ignored and distort it as 'JAPAN GAVE CULTURE TO KOREA'.

Let's see Korean education, because I AM Korean who had KOREAN education in KOREA. I never learned Japan as enemy. The problem is there weretwo big incident that Japan invaded Korea, and those two were the WORST SUFFERING that Koreans ever had in history. There was no glorification, only statements that 'Koreans should be proud of establishing own culture and science' stuffs. Those are historical facts, and children has to learn it, to know the better aspect other than bashing Japan for no reason at all. They are only 'children'. They might say Japan is an enemy now, but as they know a bit more about real life stuffs and get away from fuckin internet and shit fuck DCincide, they will change their stance.

Is that glorification, like what Japan does with history? No. I do know there are things that Korea is really bad at, such as extremely shit-fuck-retarded government rightists, nationalists, all those old people who are conservative as fuck and stuffs who always worsens relationship between Korea and Japan, but if the discussion goes on about 'history', there should be no bashing to Korea.

...and before anyone argues with the selection choice, I'd like to say that 'moeblob' describes a character with numerous appealing traits or 'Moe' factors. What are these factors? Stuff that incite a special feeling in you that could be described as a similar reaction to when you see something cute. It does not necessarily refer to a character that's the embodiment of 'extreme cuteness', nor is it a type of artstyle.

Or as described by numerous scholars such as Hiroki Azuma, a form of stimulation. Tsundere, Silent Character, Cute, Klutzy, Maids and Glasses are all moe.

Moe does not mean no characterization. Moe is everywhere. Moe can be anything. You can't escape it. Yes, moe is subjective and the moe factors can differ from people to people. However, those listed above are numerous common ones that are agreed upon by many people. It's Database consumption.

The way many use the words "moe" and "moeblob" as just a catch-all term to describe anything they hate, is wholly incorrect. When people make the term mean anything the want, and change the definition on a constant basis, it then becomes meaningless.

The truth of the matter is that Moe is anything which ignites an intense and personal passion and/or interest.It can be anything, however the term "Moe character" is acceptable. The longer phrase would be "characters most likely to induce a person's Moe". A "Moe character" would contain traits that are more likely to induce a person's Moe, i.e. "Moe traits". Things like these would be the "Dere" archtypes, silent types, dojikko, maids, etc, as previously mentioned by Actar. The term "Moeblob" however seems to be used in nothing more than a derogatory manner.

But no matter if there are "Moe Characters" who have one or more traits that are widely agreed to spark that intense passion or interest, the fact of the matter is that the feelings of Moe will ultimately always be subjective. You have felt feelings of Moe, as it is a natural extension of our human ability to love. As said previous, Moe can be anywhere, and it can do anything. Also as previously said, all characters on this list have traits that are widely agreed upon to be Moe, or traits that spark the feelings of intense passion or interest more often than not

Seriously.Why is Nichijou so boring to watch? What the hell Kyoani's doing? They are doing all the bad things that random comedy animation can do. Animation quality? Fuck it. It is only good for the forced comedy. Bear racing, dear wrestling, all those could've been much funnier in fast pacing like Seitokai Yakuin-domo or Shaft comedies. They are LENGTHENING those to death with EXTREME QUALITY ANIMATION and what I get is not a laughter, but 'wow they are really POURING money, just as Japan do with radiation water'.

Another big fat mistake of Kyoani;

THAT ROBOT GIRL IS SUPPOSED TO BE STUDENT FROM THE START

That's one HUGE reason why this series is boring as hell. They can focus more on robot + loli scientist interaction than manga, sure, but those are not funny . They are just CUTE, not even random. The fun of manga was from the perfect timing sense with no-boke analogy and ridiculous situation. Kyoani's focusing on forced comedy with quality sakuga, sacrificing the right timing all together.

Seriously. If this was directed by Shaft or any other directors, it would be so much funnier. I'm not joking.

Director of new upcoming animation 'Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai' aka 'Hanagai', Saito Hisashi, sent SOS to Nishida Asako via tweeter. He is asking her to becoming animation director of the series, knowing how godly her recent product by the exactly same original illustrator, Buruki. When Nishida's rejecting as the animation of the series will probably become exactly same as what Denpa Onna was, but director is saying he doesn't care.

The series will be animated by AIC Build, which also did Ore no Imouto.

[Ranting] Reponse to the questions with Angel Beats....

 Well, I brought some discussion about Angel Beats! in the comment section. So, I will just sum up why it is fucked, here again.

1. One problem was story. The script Maeda prepared was not 1-cour, or 2-cour in amount it was....

6-COUR

It's Hopeless. There is no dream. There is no hope.

There was NO-WAY they can make this into proper 1-cour animation. The ending was actually decent, as expected from Maeda, but this caused many awkwardness with the storyline and plot such as;

"We don't know what the story is actually trying to tell us"

"Comedy is timed very badly"

"There are too many characters"

"Plot of the start and the end does not match at all"

"Each episode is disconnected"

Thus, we can find out that the real problem actually, is not Maeda. After all, Maeda had;

No experience in animation production AT-ALL.

We can conclude that if there was ANY PERSON who is actually experienced with animation script and help Maeda to write proper animation scenario from the start, this NEVER happened. In the staff screen, Maeda is a person who is responsible for almost ENTIRE script writing of the series. We now question.

2. This is all fault of...

ANIPLEX, more specifically, PRODUCER TOBA

Toba P is my enemy. Let's kill Toba P.

This is where my 'everyone got fucked' chain started up. Toba is known for being almost-extreme-level Maeda Jun fan. There is NO-WAY he would've control Maeda for the good of animation production, Toba just left him to make all the script by himself because he wanted 'Pure, Uninterrupted, Masterpiece' by Maeda. This did-not-happen.

He is also responsible for degrading quality of animation screen itself. There were many many horrible 'directions' and Deen and Shaft level Sakuga Hokai, and this is NOT supposed to happen for 'PA Works' who has their own animation/sakuga team without any sub-contractions, like Kyoto Animation does. Why this happened? It is again, due to Toba PD. It was already hard enough to portray 6-cour amount of story into the screen, but their direction seemed to look even worse than what it could've been. Overall CG usage was very unsatisfying, with character design with no details at all.

The thing is... if 'Sekiguchi Kanami' was with PA Works at that time, this fail with animation did NOT happen. Toba P decided to ignore it.

Everything happened in Angel Beats was 'PREVENTABLE', and that's why I have to flame Toba P to death.


3. I saw many sales related arguments. However, I say that Angel Beats is the only animation that I actually think that sales were not deserved. I say sales of IS is deserved, Oreimo is deserved but not Angel Beats. It's solely because...;

IT DESTROYED FANS HEART, SO BRUTALLY.

[Madoka] 10th episode was supposed to be 45 minutes, etc...

I read this from 2ch, but it seems that original script by Urobuchi for 10th episode was actually 45 minutes in amount, thus Shinbo says he had to remove a lot of parts to fit it in 20 minutes. This explains why that episode was so crammed with information and fast paced, but I applaud Shaft for being able to deliver even though there was many cuts.

However, this opens the idea 'what if Shaft decides to become Shaft and make special version where 10th episode is full 45 minutes?' That will definitely allow them make this even bigger hit.

Also, Madoka volume 2 sold 9,574 DVD and 53,715 BD, definitely larger than 1st week sales of previous volume. It also made a record for the most selling BD title again. just like what one piece always do

In case of Tiger and Bunny, it is supposed to be bigger hit. Shipping was just huge fail. Bandai also said they will NOT going to reprint them anytime soon. That caused;

... in auction, it is sold about 5 to 10 times larger than its original price.... >_> Dumb dumb Bandai...
